Default No future after july 25, 1943 at 17:00 (FIXED: MOD RELATED)

Hello there!
It seems my career is over... The game crashes when I reach the timestamp mentioned in the title.
It firstly happened with the 1.3 release, I installed the 1.4 patch, just the same...
It's not obvious to make a research filter with these criteria, so be kind if there's already a thread about it Show me the way...
Thanks

I had a problem like that and it was a file in the Captain Midnight Radio mod. I just removed that date (in the mod) and it was fine. I can't remember for sure but I think it was around this time.

Attention !

On special instructions from ComSubPac !

Let it be known to you, crew and officers of the USSN Balao, somewhere near the Celebes Sea, on 1943 July 25 at 17:01, that the honourable captain Kylesplanet saved our butts thanks to his knowledge and skills !

A triple hourray for our savior, and a 21 shots gun salvo - the Royal Salute - in honor of a fine man !

Dismissed !
Thank you friend ! I'm in your debt.

What was the cause of the problem Freelancer? I'm getting near that date in my current career with the Capt's radio mod installed. :hmm:

I think that it has to do with an incorrect "event" date in the mod. When the event is reached, you CTD. I also use this mod, but also use DT's Radio Station Manager. This little utility will warn you, and allow you to "repair" erroneous radio events, as well as prevent the repeat of old news broadcasts. Easy to use, and set up! A must have IMO

Glad to be of help! I was having that problem and started disabling mods one at a time and found that.

Well, Salty Longshanks, as Kylesplanet pointed it, there's an event in the .ini file that causes ctd when the timestamp is reached. I checked the associated mp3 file, but found nothing of interest. I just disabled the mod, wiped the faulty paragraph within tne .ini et re-enabled the mod.

Thanks to Fish40 information about DT's Radio Station Manager, I hope I can find more about this problem, or at least avoid to see it again.

You're right, u-168, no need of this sort of problem to get jumpy when maneuvering alongside a convoy...
Thanks you all
