Default What No Depth Charges? (Help!)

I don't know what mod caused this, but now whenever I spook a destroyer I see him circling around above me with DCs continuosly rolling off the racks... but they disappear before they hit the water!

Does anyone know how to fix this?

I miss being depth charged!!!

Check out the "Reflections ON The Water" thread, from page 90 or 91 onwards. This problem was caused by a missing file in one of the ROW files I think. Are you useing ROW? You need to read those pages of the thread for the explanation and fix.

It seems to have been a missing file in the ROW Objects Reflections vs4.

Not missing file, but missing data from one file (guns_radar.sim). Hopefully it will be corrected when Leovampire's health allows it, along with getting ROW 1.4-compatible. But, first things first (Hear me Leo? Get well first, mate, everything else pales in comparison!).

Default Actualy there is no missing data in the file

The game file's that control the depth charge drop do not need all of the data to work due to several animation files that work with it. If you look at the stock game files with no mods they look the same. There is a problem with the Depth_Charge rack_SHIV and how it works.

But anyways I omited that files from the object reflections seeing it was only for the ship to ship comunications light effect work to stop the problem.

I am using Taters mod for depth charges now in my game and have no problems and adjusted the siginal lights in his files instead.

He changed the types of racks the DD's use in game so the problems are gone.

Oh...my bad then. I only compared that file with the one from RSRDC, which is probably the same as tater's you mention below:
