Default proper models of standard torpedos?

G7a Compressed air torpedo
Date in service: c.1938
Length: 7.19m (23.5ft)
Diameter: 53.3cm (21in)
Weight: 1528kg (3369lbs)
Propulsion: Decahydronapthalene (Decalin) wet heater

so that means that the electric eel has a much smaller warhead than its steam counterpart. It would make sense, cause (lead) batteries eat up alot space and weight, so it sounds reasonable that the warhead has to be reduced. Have you ever noticed a difference in destruction power?
And it also looks as if the ranges differ from the ranges within SH3 - maybe my source is wrong, maybe you have other info?
