Default 3 Missing U-Boats found

Anybody seen the documentary on the discovery of 3 late war type V11C u-boats off the coast of sw England? It appears they were sunk by mines that were unkown to the Kreigsmarine. The odd part of this discovery is that the Royal Navy reported the boats were sunk in areas far removed from this particular minefield It was shown last night on the local History Channel. Cheers-Cody

Maybe they said that on purpose, to keep the location of the minefield secret?

I don't think so, Royal Navy removed minefields long time ago, theres just no need for them anymore.

At the moment I must salute the founded 3 VIIC's Crew, I hope they will be put on their final rest place.
And also that their loved ones will finally finds out what happened to their men...

When exactly did the RN report those sunken Uboats?
Recently, or in WW2?
I assumed WW2, hence my remark about keeping the location secret.
