cant end patrol
For some reason (and it might actually be part of the game) I am unable to end my patrol. The game is fully patched. My home base was Brisbane and the date is April 1943. When I near base the anchor icon appears but when I click it, the option of docking and ending my patrol is greyed out. I have the choice of 'Postponing' or 'refit'. I opted to refit and ran back out to sea.
Do you think this is a glitch or is it part of the game...my crew are getting tired... |

Check the map if another anchor is present on there. Maybe your home base isn't Brisbane anymore but another base is instead.

I think Brisbane was closed some time after the Solomons were retaken. I think your new base will be Fremantle.

If I understand properly, this is an area which will improve when the new 1.4 patch comes out. It will be easier to tell when your home based has moved.
