Radian X1650 Pro, I have one. Got it for $99 at Best Buy when SH4 was coming out. Works fine, I'm not one of the more discriminating video card types, though.

ATI have brought the Radeon X800GT to market to compete with NVIDIA's GeForce 6600GT, and from our results you can undoubtedly see that it has succeeded, offering a similar level of performance for a similar price. If you're after a mid-range ATI board and don't fancy shelling out extra for a recently-released Radeon X800GTO, then it would be hard to argue against purchasing one of these cards. More specifically to Powercolor's offering, the inclusion of Hitman: Contracts bundled with the card and the addition of dual DVI support may well be enough to tempt you to go for this particular offering over some of the more sparse packages on offer elsewhere.

Perhaps the biggest question of them all is whether you should choose a Radeon X800GT board over a GeForce 6600GT offering? The answer to this one is a difficult one - As we've seen from our testing the two boards trade blows dependant on the game title and resolution and settings employed. Then you have the question of the NVIDIA parts support for Shader Model 3.0 and SLI (Although admittedly the X800GT is CrossFire capable, but would require buying a 16 pipeline X800 Master board which would then be reduced to just eight pipelines, not an ideal situation). For me personally, the GeForce 6600GT is still the way to go overall taking into account both performance and features, but the final decision should probably be based just as much on what kind of deals you can find on these boards - Some 128MB 6600GTs are almost as expensive as this 256MB X800GT, so if you'd rather have the extra video memory on-board then you might want to take the ATI route. My advice would be - Shop around, and get the most bang for your buck that you possibly can. Whatever you decide, chances are you won't be disappointed.

Thus performance is about the same as the 6600GT:

Thus the X1650 is better, is some situations by a good amount. However, I can't help but wonder if it pays at this point just to get an X1950.

For X1650Pro on Newegg: Your Price:$69.99
For X1950GT on Newegg: Your Price:$112.99
For X1950Pro (256) on Newegg: Your Price:$134.99
