This is a perfectly legitamate rant about the British Police Force, and this thread is not the place for responses that contain things like "lol" or "I know, wtf". Thanks
![]() My father and I, when on a hour and a half car journey from the West Midlands to Ystalyfera, Wales (Near Swansea) discussed the state of the British Police force. These are some of the points that came up:
*This is in no way a generalisation. She was a woman ** You're supposed to have locking mechanisms on the corners and middle of a dock container to stop it from sliding off the flatbed. This trucker had neither.

In ten years you will look back and say what a crap country I lived in then, but it was better back then.
![]() The following is a general statement to the folks of the UK - The power is with the people you want change wake up. ![]() And on that note I am not reading or replying to this thread anymore. :p

Kinda with Chock on this one.
British Police are probably doing the best they can with the resources they've got and the targets they are forced to meet. It's the fault of the courts that crimanals get off with such light sentances sometimes. But then are the courts hands not partly tied by the overcrowding in prisons? Who's fault is that?

Apathy mate, that's what it is.
- pigs on the motorway - everytime I've broken down and used one of those emergency phones and spoken to an operator, a car has arrived withing a matter of a couple of minues. Certainly my trip up the M1 and the A50 last weekend saw about a dozen rozzers driving along. - other drivers and the law - so many times I've lost count. - car phone guy - deserves it like everybody else; trouble is he'll probably have to kill some poor sod first before anything serious happens. A m8 of mine got 4 points and a 90 quid fine for using his mobile phone in a stationary traffic jam to tell work he'd be late. Nice... meet those targets, bust that quango goal. - all of the above - it's cynically perceived that the easiest people to convict/fine etc are the ones the police go for, but maybe that is because they're the easiest? l ol wft m8 ![]()

I think that Britain needs this guy:
![]() or this guy: ![]() either way, the crime problems in the UK, or any other country they patrol, are over! ![]() But seriously speaking, law enforcement in the UK does seem to be suffering from an over reliance on technology when nothing does the job like a cop on the beat with a good head on his shoulders. |

I think we'll stick to the more traditional Policing methods thank you. Under the present system, mistakes can sometimes be rectified
