Greetings all, I'm new to the forum and a SH4, long time player of SH3. Of course in SH3 my experience was all of the "click & sink" flavor, for my TDC skills are really lacking. I've read some really great posts on here about manual firing and seen a really great video on using just sonar.
With all that said, I'm still out to lunch with coming up with a manual firing solution, navigating to a good intersect point with approaching ships/convoys, even working with the nav tools I'm awful at. Now I'm not completely math stupid, but it's been too many years since I was in geometry class. I know I'm cheating myself out of a great game play experience by not playing with a high degree of REALISM, so if anyone could point me in the direction of a good manual/website/the right department of the psychic friends network, something for I really do want to learn. Thank you all, -Matt |

Also check out the 3 videos at http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=118923. In particular, they show effective use of the plotting tools.
