jimbuna ?

Reading comments on Gramophone selections, I'm reminded of a selection you compiled, one which I couldn't download because of some god-awful file size. Is that something that could be offered in manageable bites (sic) ? Or perhaps it's on a disk that can be purchased with a modicum of online commerce ?
OH ! Where are my manners ?
Hello. How are you ?

That will be my music (ogg.vorbis format) compilation for GWX I suspect (now split into 3 easy downloadable files).
I am currently working on another compilation for GWX v1.04 which will consist of the original GWX compilation plus additional tracks (4 files).
I suppose you have a choice sir, I can upload the original or you can be sent the latest version when it is ready

jimbuna, could you move these to the Subsim Bonus Disk so I can get them ?
Something is not working right for me with these links / download manager.
I like the idea of having a download manager because it means I can drop off then pick up where I left off. But getting their software left me with some obscene cartoon site, and pop ups that popped up even when I was disconnected. They came on so fast and furious that the machine was unusable and had to be formatted. I appreciate your efforts and all have/can do for me.

I have no input as to what Neal includes on the bonus disk.
I was suprised to hear of your problems because literally dozens of people have accessed my account for said material and absolutely no-one has reported any difficulties Therefore I can only presume the reason is because of cookies/files already resident on your system.
You have two choices, I can create a torrent with them or I can u/l to FileFront (in either case I will password protect the files)

I keep thinking everyone I converse with is affiliated.
I recognise the name FileFront and have had luck with it.
I still don't know what a torrent is.

I used to be highly PC proficient in the days of DOS and Windows 3.11.
My capability lagged with the coming of hidden system files, html, and pop-ups.
I wish Prodigy was still around; just text and GIFs, and a program called Journalist
that downloaded articles of interest by choice, and formatted them into a newspaper.
And something called Newsgroups. for topical information.
The SH3 forum is something like a Newsgroup, except it has all of these pictures on the screen with it.
It's my Newsgroup, anyway. My last one was another subsim called Terror From The Deep!
I know things will always change, but some things should remain accessible. Things
like TFTD, contact point ignition, hip huggers, and text and GIF internet service.

Hey Jimbuna, was just wondering what this music for the gramophone compilation contains. It is already in GWX 1.03 or is it an xtra d/l? Can I access?
A while ago there were a heap of gramaphone tracks, german hits of 39,40,41 etc that you could d/l from download central. But I remember there were always problems with that site, was back then anyway. Also contained on that site was Churches radio mods for 39,40,41 and if you put them in SH3 cmdr, thay would come on in the coreesponding year. Sounded great as you'd get real broadcasts from WW2 but as I said it was hard getting these mods as d/l central seemed always to be plagued with problems.
Anyway, just a question, are churches radio mods in GWE 1.03? Are they still accessible and will they work in current SH3 cmdr2.7?
Any answer would be greatly appreciated.
Thks ..............

The music I am making reference to is a selection of music of the era intermixed with a little classical and film track sounds. (4 files...ogg.vorbis format)
