[REQ] Any way to stop the crews's yelling?

I've noticed when one's boat takes damage but survives the encounter that the crew will yell for the rest of the patrol. Really, I want to slap my diving officer (or tell him to lay off the caffeine) for yelling out his commands to the helmsman and do the same when the latter yells "YES SIR!!!"

I'm thinking this is tied in to some sort of damage state that, once reached, causes the crew to act this way until the patrol ends. Any way to fix this?
