relative and true bearings

is it possible for you experts in here to change the game so the ships heading in scopes and on the bridge targeting reads true bearings and not relative bearings i.e north 000 is always north and not where the ship is pointing this woudl solve alot of problems with manual targeting for those who cant distinguish then apart aso a bearing rate readout on the targets this has always been available to submariners for TMA

It took me a long time to get used to, I'll admit that. True heading reporting is what I worked with in the navy, this relative bearing reporting is/was confusing. I've adapted somewhat, but if a modder can make this (which I seriously doubt) I'll be one of the happy users.

i doubt its to hard because the nav map works in true bearings and the course reports are in true so why not

I remotely remember asking this to Ducimus when he frequented this forum a bit more....He told me it was hardcoded. I'm not entirely sure, but i think that's what he said.

Anyway, I wouldn't know where to start....
