Default GWX single missions not running

I don't know if this matter has been resolved already...I searched for answers but couldn't find anything.

I have installed SH III GWX....I have tried to play a couple of single missions that came with GWX for a quick fix, but each time the game 'hangs' in the loading screen; nothing happens. Am I doing anything wrong is this a known issue.

Thanks in advance,
ReM

ReM,
There missions have all been tested and they all work with GWX 1.03. I am not sure what the problem is.
Perhaps you need to reinstall GWX and or the 1.03 update.

How long did you 'wait' in the loading screen before finally exiting SH3?

I had the same problem and waited 'only' for a minute or so. I thought the game had crashed, too. But I couldn't imagine that the GWX team would not have fixed this problem.

So I started another single mission and waited ... and waited ... and waited ...
After 4 or 5 minutes (!!!) the single mission was finally loaded and I could start.

Maybe you should wait a little longer, depending on your system specs.
Be patient, mate!
That's the only advice I can give you, sorry.

Happy hunting!

There is a tradeoff between great content and fast loading. There has been a lot of discussion about this and most feel great content wins. After all, if you are going to play a game for a few hours, you want it to be as good as possible.
If the long waiting time is a problem for a quick game, have a duel install with vanilla SH3 and GWX 1.03 and choose the vanilla for a quick (and dull) game.

Precisely ....give the game 5 minutes....I'm hopeful that will pay you dividends

Thanks for the answers guys....I think a little more patience should do the trick...

My install is rather fresh and all mods have been abled/disabled with JSGME..so I don't expect any faults....

Edit: everything works as advertised.....

Not only is my self-created problem solved, I need to ask for a second favor....

Could anybody send me the PA-69 (english) folder from data/singlemissions?

Thanks again...I apologize for my stupidity and impatience.....
