Default "K-19" sinks!

Sorry I'm a bit late with this submarine news but I only now heard about it on the news. As a Rhode Island resident and subsim fan i'm not that proud of the way she's been maintained.

What I don't understand is they say it was too bad out to board the sub and inspect the bilge alarm (and in the process dog down the hatches) but not bad enough to add extra mooring lines at the height of the storm hours later.
