I have been along time sim lover. Started back in the days of Silent Service on Nintendo. Then continuing with Carries at War. Played that while out on patrols on the Iowa. Have played the gambit, mostly Naval Sims, 688(i)Hunter/Killer, Harpoon Series, Great Naval Battles Series, Enigma, and so forth. I am really excited at the remake of Carries at War I saw an article on.
That being said, I really like Silent Hunter IV. I am not too savy at the manual targeting (still practicing) but I do see the items that everyone states need to be fixed and agree 100%. The point of this post is to say of all the forums for all the games I've played, Sim, MMO whatever, this has got to be the best community I have had the pleasure of being a part of. The comical way the "ole timers" use to play off the problems in the game are priceless. I appreciate logging on and seeing helpful posts all over the place in regards to patience on 1.3, or other problems players like myself are having in the game. So, once again, thank you to all of the supportive folks here at SubSim. And Neal, Bravo-Zulu on a great website. ![]()
