Default Just got a VIIC

Wow I cannot believe I have done 8 patrols!! thanks to guys on here with some great advice and I guess two patrols where I didnt meet a target that wasn't neutral or german I have survived till may 1940 and just got a nice new VIIC I am just on my way out of the harbour so will let you know how it goes but the skin patch that is on (fubars I think) is great it has the weathering and rust and looks coooooool.

I will keep you posted on U52's progress in the coming weeks (the wife has given me back the cd so I can play it again now) 3 weeks of grounding to get the garden done DOH!

Congratulations! You're ahead of me, I just finished my first patrol -- no, I didn't run it at 1X time all the way, but it came out to the same number of days! Did you "buy" your new boat with renown, or did BdU just decide it was time for a change? (If the former, how much did it cost, may I ask?)

Gute Jagd! Remember to sleep once in a while!

Just wait until you can make your VIIC into a VIIC/42? Neat.

Default VIICs are uber cool and they bring the chicks...

Now be honest. Don't you feel like Da Man on the bridge of your VIIC?

Thanx guys,

The renown was about 3500 iirc.

Boy do I feel like the man the boat looks cool and the men are eager to add to the 44,000 tonnes so far.

The garden is lovely now but not as nice as my quarters on the U-52, but is nice to look at the photo of the garden as the charges drop from above, hope I am not pushing up any daisys any time soon.

Just 'brought' a VIIB, now onto my 3rd patrol, have sank 2 coastal merchants and 1 corvet, all with my deck gun

Still getting used to trying to hit moving targets with my fish (Never played on realistic settings on SH2, but went straight to real on SH3, well I kept my External views, I like them too much )

I ended the war with a VIIC/42

Now I'm starting over again with a VIIB. It's a grand boat and I hope you have the best of luck on your fourth patrol, I'm on my third patrol.

Rob
