There seems to be a few things with the radar that I think we can fix.
Ive created this topic for poeple to list their ideas for changes to radar. If anyone can help me with these issues pls post here. Radar depth - the sub I'm using in the current mission goes to 40ft for radar depth but the radar cuts out at 38ft. at this depth you are easy to spot. I think the shut off depth should be 42ft or deeper as the mast is still well out of the water. does anyone know how to adjust this. Sensitivity - could the radar realy pick up life boats from miles away? can this be adjusted? Plot Size - from what ive seen , movies doco's the radar blip on screen is far smaller and relative to ship size . my radar seems to indicate a life boat about the size of an oil rig. can this be changed? Air / Ground - well we are all aware of this one. Has anyone worked it out do we have seperate working air and ground radar?
