Default Changing commands.cfg

Hi, Does anybody know how to add keys to certain commands in this file to acttivate the inactive commands?
Also, does anyone have a list of the hex values used in the game for the different keyboard keys?
Ex:

[Cmd41]
Name=Crew_control
Ctxt=1
MnID=0x3F020008
Key0=0x76,,"F7"
Page=0x61000000,3742; SH3: 0x67000000,3742

Thank you!

I think there is a mod you can find on the SH3 board that would allow you to remap your keyboard. It would provide the correct key codes for whatever key you assigned.

You might also google keyboard scan codes and find something.

As for the other portion of your question, it would probably help to correct the Subject to refer to the correct file - commands.cfg rather than config.cfg
Edit - then Go Advanced

I tried using the editor (set key, I think is called), but it messed up the game. Does anyone know how to use the program with sh4?

Thanks, for the link to the other thread, irish, however, the problem I'm having is that when I modify the commands.cfg file using setkey, it breaks sh4. For example, when I try to access any of the periscopes, I get a strange view from the bridge of the boat. All this happens, even though I haven't touched the periscope commands in the commands.cfg.

Does anyone know how to use it so that it doesn't break anything?

Also, how can I select the individual torp tubes with key commands, when the commands.cfg only has tubes 1 - 6?

Thanks

I usually just copy my commands.cfg file into the setkey folder, rename it commands_en.cfg and edit my keys.

I then open the file up and copy paste the change values into the SH4 commands.cfg.

Yeah, the intent of pointing you to this is that is would identify the correct values for the keys you want to use - I'm sorry I wasn't more specific.

Ok, I checked the links, but the scan codes do no coincide with the codes used in the commands.cfg in sh4. Do I have to make some special calculation to arrive at the values used in commands.cfg? Thanks.
