Default torpedo question

hey everybody.. i'm new in here and new to the whole sh3 universe.. i've never played a game as rewarding as sh3.. that being said, i had a couple of good patrols,
1st patrol (1939) - 18000 tons (hey, its a start)
2nd patrol (1939) - 46000 tons (a few c2's )
i'm doing my 3rd patrol at the moment.. ****ty weather, and i've jus stumbled upon my first convoy.. 2 T2's, 2 C2's and a few merchants.. well the problem i have is that i've fired a couple stern torpedos early in my patrol and now the stern tube doesnt get reloaded.. i've got the external torpedo but even though i'm on the surface and there's sufficient crew in the stern, they dont reload it!.. any clues as to why?.. any form of help would be fully appreciated..

cheers!..

You have to move it yourself click it on and move it to the internal store. You have to be on the surface to do this.

PS: Welcome on board.

PPS: Try GWX it will blow you away.

Welcome aboard Young Jedi

Steed above here does mean literally move it
manually from deck storage to internal torpedo storage
you wont be able to move it directly to a tube but
it will start loading once in storage unless your set for
manual loading.

also the speed to move it from deck to internal is somewhat
longer than it takes to load so be prepared to stay on the
surface to finish and dont get shot up.

and finally fwd ext storage is handled by crew from fwd torpedo room
and likewise for aft ext stg by aft torpedo crew

the efficiency fatigue level and training of these
crews will speed the process.

i did that mate.. but it keeps goin back to the ext storage slot like a magnet.. u know, when u drag something and it doesn't fit, it goes back to the original location!..

and yeah i definitely wanna check out GWX.. heard all the hype, but i wanna finish my current partol first and then i'll give it a shot!..

When you drag it from the external slot to the internal slot, does it become shaded in?? As long as you're on the surface & have crew in the torpedo rooms, it should change status..

Good Hunting!
