[TEC] dds files - UMark
Files such as the UMark.dds, what format is dds, is it a Directdraw surfacefile, if so how do I convert SH3 tga files to dds?

take a look here --> http://developer.nvidia.com/object/dds_utilities.html There you´ll find all the goodies to work with dds. Hope i could help.

Thanks I'll give it a go, I tried one converter but the dds format is only 24bit, not 32 but wow the files are huge, one I started with (including Alpha) was 4 meg, but the generated file was 72meg!!
 would this be correct?

What are you trying to do with the UMark? that sounds very very big to me.
