Default Convoy AI and Cut-scene voices issues

One. On my very first patrol I got this cool little briefing with an overview on how the war is progressing. Essentially a narrated map with animations showing ship movements and such. Now, I've lost all voices during these cut-scenes. I see the movie and the text but hear no voices. Anyone else seen that?

Two. Convouys seem to behave somewhat strangely when under attack. For some reason they drop speed to about 2kts while their escorts search for me. This usually means that I can go deep at 1/3 speed and still keep up with the convoy while I reload my tubes. This enables me to hide in the noice generated by the convoy and simply pop-up to PD-depth as soon as the tubes are reloaded. Rince and repeat until all torps are expended. Somewhat strange I think.

one: I don't think they put voices in for that part, I don't have them either.

two: Yeah, I've noticed the one knot convoys too, at first I thought it was just troop ships unloading for invasion, but it wasn't. Must be a bug?

You have to have the music enabled to hear the voiceover during the briefings.

You're welcome. I had the same problem. Then I tried playing the BINK movies in the \movies\missions folder and there I suddenly had sound/voiceovers. Next tried it again ingame with the music enabled and it worked.

A bit silly by the devs IMO to treat the mission briefings as "music", but well....
