Default Option: Realist sinking time

Hey!

I bought SH4 today and I got 2 manuals, 1 in french and 1 in english

So, in the one in french it say in the middle of the realism option:

''Temps de naufrage réaliste: le temps qu'un navire met à sombré est allongé (8% de réalisme)''

If I translate:

''Realist sinking time: the time a ship need to sink is lengthened (8% of realism)''

In the game, it's not even there! So I checked in the english manual and it's not there too!

So, it may be an option that they decided to remove?? Because I would use that and it give 8% in realism!

well i would say by default realistic times is the setting, ive seen an abandoned ship ( was told i killed it saw the crew leave) stay on the surface for days and days.
ive seen a ship take one torp and sink hours later. ive seen others sail into the sunset on fire with no crew on board. only to sink during the night.
basically comparing it to SHIII if you had realistic sinking you didnt know if you needed another fish to finish her off, and thats exactly what this game is like.
you never know if you need another torp to do the job

You can alter the realism settings in the last screen just before 'launching' a mission....you find the word realism and the percentage of realism, somewhere below ...clicking here allows you to alter settings...in my game realistic ship sinking times is one of them...

Are you sure??

I clicked on it just before the mission an it wasn't there

If you have time, can you post a screen please?? Maybe you got ''No sonar'' too?? Because I didn't have this one too...

I have to admit I can't find it either....the option is mentioned in my english manual as well, but I haven't been able to find it....

Sorry 'bout pretending to have the solution, but I was pretty confident the option was there, perhaps I was still in SH III mode, where you can find it where it should be.

Anyway, maybe it should be added to the buglist...
