Default Different versions of the game

I'm looking forward to reading the topic where a forum member says:

" I ordered my suped up 'Super V12 Limited Edition Admirals Cut' version of the game via the Galapagos Islands in order to save tax. I have a pen, an arm patch, numerous odd books, and a DVD Documentary on rare birds in the wrong format. But how do I open this stupid metal box that I'm hoping the game is in?"

I ordered the super duper version and got charged VAT even though I shouldn't have. Wish I'd known I could have swum to the Galapagos to save on that tax.

Don't they include a metal box opener?

Havent you heard of the Super-Duper-Snooty-Tooty version? It comes with a controller in the form of a control room and it needs an average bungalow to set up in!

Pre-ordered!

There will be a patch 1.0MBO for the metal box opener which will also delete the radio traffic.

Shoot! Will there be a mod to get the sound back?

Default Silent Hunter IV: Peripherals

Man, I just can't wait for SHIV! I just ordered my Thrustmaster Gato Periscope, complete with optional 'OOOHGA' button for extra realism. Attaches to the top of the monitor, pull out the handles and peer in, just like hitting F3...

But, did you order the deluxe version that simulates packing faliure from DC detonation by squirting sea water (5 litres included!) at you?

In addition, I also ordered the simulated torpedo tubes that fire large foam-rubber projectiles (from roof-mounted launcher) at passersby.

Aren't the Galapagos Islands somewhere off of South America? That's an awful long way to go to keep from paying a tax now.

My idea of fun is to get a small can of diesel fuel down at the local gas station and sprinkle some on my clothes ... Then let the can sit in the corner and take a whiff ever once in a while.

I'm single so I can get away with it ...

I bought the Super-Duper Grognard's Edition, and I found the key to the tin box in the pocket of the scale 1:1 living submarine veteran that comes with the package. Just a hint.

But no, it doesn't contain the game. Honestly, all these extra features and you expecred a game disc, too? Some people are just spoiled. The tin box contains a set of cute Japanese tin sailors, scale 1:160. Steadfast tin sailors.
