...........but the BBC has strange priorities as this item hit the front page :

But there are worrying signs that, like Rome, the nations spirit is going soft : ''Now volunteers at Goose Creek are hoping a t-shirt on sale through a local firm will raise enough cash to provide long-term care for the bird.''
