Default Editing *.zon - Getting rid of bubbles

Moin,

modding the *.zon of a newly created object lead me into some trouble.

How do I get rid of these air bubbles?

I´ve deleted all SH3ZonesCtrl/Spheres - no success
I´ve deleted all SH3ZonesCtrl/Boxes - no bubbles AND NO MORE COLLISION

Regards,
DD

The Type entry in pack3d is the wrong type, it should be dword, and references the zone type in zones.cfg, open the zon file with an hex editor, and change the type value to another type (use one of the entries in zones.cfg).

thx for reply. Since I´ve left the type data unchanged I´m wondering why it is wrong. These data came with the vessel I´ve cloned. But trying to change as you said now.

DD

Perhaps the damage model of your ship was made for another zones.cfg file...
Each big mod has it's own zones.cfg file, it could happen that a zone defined as radar in NYGM is keel in GW...

No success till now. I´ve cloned the NF_boat_1 from my NYGM2.2 installation. Didn´t check out the GWX so far. Would have to move to my desktop then. So, I´ve compared *.zon files from stock game / NYGM2.2 with mine. I didn´t notice any significant differences. Switching back to the hex editor for investigation. CU

Regards,
DD

PS: Do you know of any zones properties editor that would be available for downlaod or a tutorial for zone editing? I´ve no experience with zones til now.
