turms and deck guns

so ive made a couple of really good skins so far, but i cant seem to figure out how to change the decks of the conning tower. ive edited the deck tga in the viic dat and it will only change the immediate deck, not the conning tower deck. In the objects folder there are a bunch of differant "turms" for the viic, these folders include however, another deck and hull( which are all the same ) TGA, and the texture of the inside conning tower.

So I have two questions.

How do i edit the differant conning towers?

and

where in the world is the deck gun texture?
