Default renown

I hate to sound like i am cheating, but I have played though December 28, 41, and want to be there for operation drumbeat, but only have 5300 reknown, how can I crank that up to 7.5k so I can get a IXC to travel to America....

I really tried to do this w/o cheating....

Go into the basic.cfg and change the renown cost for the IXC to zero.

I set all my subs and upgrades to 0 renown, but I increased the time to "install/train". I used the NYGM mod as a basis for doing it, I liked their concept.

Here's an example:
C:\Documents and Settings\Jim\My Documents\SH3\data\cfg\Careers\H Wittman GW
My kaleun is called Wittman (the GW tells me it's a Grey Wolves installation patrol)
You should see a cfg file 'Patrols_0'...open that up and nearly at the bottom you will see the renown figure...just change that to whatever value you require. Only make the changes whilst in port...never mid patrol

Happy cheating lol
