Random versus scripted patrols
As far as I understantd it, NYGM makes use of mostly randomly generated patrols - destroyers that leave one port, patrol their assigned area, and then go to a second port. GW and the vanilla (unmodded) version, on the other hand, has them scripted, patrolling their areas for eternity. Or at least until they are sunk, the war ends, or the player logs off, whichever comes first.
What do the rest of you consider the best method? Personally, I'm intrigued by NYGM's approach, as it's more realistic and makes patrols more unpredictable. And while we're at it, which will GWX make use of? Random or generated patrols?
