Default Strange comment when my men got killed

I was on the surface and was deck gunning a ship when one of their shells hit my deck crew. The Watchman shouted in English. "Oh My God"! Strange thing coming from a German. But then in Das Boot they were greeting each other, "Morning" instead of Morgen. Also, was it Thomsen who said when being carried out of the toilets, "I'm too drunk to **** or something similar?

You sure you weren't watching the English Dubbed version? :hmm: No? Then I don't know what happened!

Thomsen's comment was in English but he was drunk like hell so this doesn't count. But I can't remember the crew greeting each other with "Morning". It's rather the short form of "Guten Morgen": "Morgen". :hmm:

I picked that up as well (DasBoote, not SHIII) I'm pretty sure he said morning.

"OH MY GOT!! OH MY GOT!! OH MY GOT!! OH MY GOT!!" :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I have a similar situation when I surfaced in the mission U-505. As soon as I surfaced, two seconds and...
"OH MY GOT!! OH MY GOT!!"

My men died quite quickly. The boat, in the end, due to a crack repair crew, took 8 bomb hits and two friendly fire torpedoes (don't ask) before crushing on the surface. (also don't ask)

KaLeun Thomsen actually said "I am not in the condition to f**k".

I have no recollection of the crewmen saying "Morning" to each other!? Was it still in port or on sea? I will watch the movie again and pay attention to it. I guess it was a joke between German sailors to say morning, because they "feared" the English and tried to learn English. Also, just for the record, German sailors don't say "Morgen", but "Moin".

Enough of German lessons from me

Kein Problem, Herr Bootsmann!

I think they said "Moin", which is pronounced like "Moooooin", which might sound similar to "Morning", depending on the German dialect.

Greetings to Milton Keynes, I hope I can go there sometimes, I want to see a stairway in an industrial centre over there, designed by my fav musician who used to be an architectural student then.

I thought Milton Keynes was only famous for its concrete cows.

Do you know, I've never even seen the concrete cows let alone real ones!
