Default A thrilling final race.

I must say Schumacher was awesome. Her eally showed why he is the best driver of the modern era.

Conrgats to Massa, not just a co pilot to Schumacher, the guy can drive. Should be interesting next season.

Congrats to Alonso, drove a smart race. I am also really chuffed for Button. He has taken a lot of stick this season and had a not to great car. Seems Honda have pulled it together and Button drove a superb gutsy race. Pulled a great move on Raikonnen.

Now that the season is over, I dont even want to hear anything about F1, ever. The channel here in Finland that has been showing the races for years decided to pull the F1 out of the free channel and make it available only on pay-to-view channel.

BAD move, for example, the house I´m living atm isnt fitted with a digital antenna, so there´s no way I can even consider getting the channel. And this house isnt the only house in Finland with this problem.

Sure, they still show the highlights of the races on the free channel, but watching a 15min 'quickrace' isnt exatly the same thing than watching the whole race.

Damn, I hate this country.

i dont know if you have the itv coverage (please brundle thump james allen in the face) but before the race there was coverage of schumi being awarded a trophy by pele, walking away brundle saw that kimi wasnt there.

he later asked kimi why he wasnt at the presentation

kimis exact words -'i was taking a sh!t'

It's all over until next March. Looks like it's back to twiddling my thumbs.

What a great season this year and fare well to Michael Schumacher.

Yea he ahd his moments that were a little off, but this shouldn't take away from teh fact that he is still the best and I doubt we will see someone like him for a long time.

Kind of sad. I wonder if Senna had lived how things would have been different?

That´s what comes to my mind everytime I hear someone talking about Schumi´s achievements in F1.

That had to have been one of the best pre-race interviews that I have seen. Well done Kimi for being so brutally honest.

I bet Schumi is sitting in a cockpit again before 18 months are over. Seeing how much he enjoyed the fighting today, I cannot imagine him sitting in a bureau only, or managing the factory. Or he shows up again in the senior league.

Or flies a TIE fighter in Star Wars VII

I agree, but I doubt it will be F1 cockpit.

ms has enough money to buy several teams outright, i wouldnt be surprised if he owns/co-owns a team before next decade is out. perhaps with mika hakkinen as they have grown close of late.

But it is possible, as far as his physical shape is concerned. There was a long interview with his physiotherapists in gemran medias some days ago. He said the is so incredibly well-trained and in 120% fitness that he could pause one year and then return woithiut any problems, and drive another couple of years. They said he is by far the most welltrained driver who ever drove in modern F1. It is known that he spends more time in physical training than anyone else. "Spend", I mean, damn, I really need to get used to that it is over
