Default Water in GWX.

I was wondering if the water in GWX would vary in colour depending on which part of the world your in. I think that SH3 and the mods desperately need some distinction in to give your areas much more atmosphere. When i look at the water I cant tell whether im near Iceland or Brazil. I also hope that the water looks different in SH4 to SH3 in terms of colour.

AFAIK, the water color cannot change when you are on patrol. If you start from Med, the atlantic water will too be in Med color if you decide to go thru Gibraltar to Atlantic.

I just think its a shame that the water around the coast of south africa is the same colour as the water around Iceland.

Agreed. But that´s how the game works.

If you start your patrol from Brest, save & exit. Then, you start another patrol in Med, save & exit and load up the Brest patrol, now you should have the Med water for Atlantic. This was the case, when starting new careers with SH3cmdr. Dont know if there is any solutions to it.
