Damn net!!!!

Whose idea was it to drape a net between Brittany and the island in the Bay of Biscay.

I lost my U-Boat going through that channel.

What other surprises are you guys up to.

BTW, I am running GW.

War is full of surprises.

Hehe pitty there isnt a Name tag on those nets of who put it there

look with the observation scope that last moments of the submarine
Name Tag says ''Net putted down by Bernard Dummköpf''

BERNAAAAAAAAAAARD!

I was close to the english coast one and I just popped the Observation scope up when on 30- 50 meters depth evading patrolling DD's just to look underwater...and I saw a black line straight in front of me...it was the first time I saw something like that going that deep...I looked up and saw the Horror with spikes around it...I was like What The.... I hitted the cable an recieved some damages in my Bow torpedo room

In the upper left coner of the map screen you'll find charts showing nets and mines.

Yeah, I slipped into a harbor once. Made a kill on a corvette. I have a destroyer sitting just using his search light. So there I am submerged at full speed lining up on the destroyer and bang. WTF????????? I go to outside views and my sub is completely out of the water sitting on a subnet. Full back on the engines to get off hoping the destroyer does not start shelling me....he did. I had to scrape along the net to get out of the harbor. I took hull damage all the way.

If you are quite and have no one chansing you you can actually sneak over nets in a VII. The next hang at around 9m so you will expose your conning tower but you can do it if you are careful. See http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...rbour+tutorial
