Default Newbish Question time: Navigating to co-ordinates seen in messages?

Hi all! I hope this doesn't expose too too much of my newbieness with the game, but...

...I frequently get messages when on patrol, and many of them contain grid co-ordinates like (working from memory here) N 58'09 W 32'26 , or something like that. I was wondering if these messages ("Rescue survivors of .... at ......") were just "flavor" added to the game, or genuine? And if they are genuine, how would one, well.."aim" one's U-boat to those co-ordinates?

I am using the 1.4b patched game with the Grey Wolves mod, and absolutely loving it.

Thanks for any help!

Yup, just flavour, AFAIK.
The stock game does not have these messages.

I believe they are actual radio messages sent by real u-boots during the war, but yes they are just flavor for the game.
