its a bit of a long shot and I completely understand if you can't give this information but will GWX fix the time spent docked at milch cows and friendly vessels problem. I know Commander fixes it but I was wondering if GWX would as I prefer to use as few mods as possible.

I'm not really sure that's something GWX would be able to do inheriently. The game was never designed with milk cows in mind, they came about by mod devs noticing you could place a harbor anywhere. So combined that with a ship somewhere to make a milk cow.
SH3 Commander, SH3 Patrol and other programs which "fix" the milk cow problem work by seeing that you're not in your home port after a patrol and manually changing the Days In Port to 1, assuming you're at a milk cow. I'm not sure that SH3 itself, and therefore GWX or other mods, can tell automatically that you ended where you weren't supposed to be and therefore set it to just 1 day. It would certainly be neat if they could though, and if anyone can the player supermod devs can. ![]() |

Of course I also don't see how anyone could limit themselves to "as few mods as possible", but again that's just me (running more than 40 mods).

well my game seems to stop functioning correctly with several mods. and certainly in terms of multiplayer, most mods cause instability. SH3 multiplayer is rather fragile.

I believe you can adjust milch cows to one day in the INI files. I do not know how but I understand it can be done. Fortunate for us, the guys at GW listen to us and I would suspect they will fix that.

I am pretty much certain if you rollback SH3commander you shouldnt have any problems
Unfortunately without SH3commander there is no way to change day spent in base to 1 when at a milkcow - UNLESS - you change the current entry of 28 days in the Basic.cfg before you leave patrol Unfortunately this means you will only spend 1 day inbetween patrols when at your home port If you spend a lot of time multiplaying it may be worth having 2 installs One for online and one with sh3 commander and anything else you want to add for your normal play |
