Default Time compression and crew fatigue

I believe that with time compression at 64 or above, crew fatigue in SH3 is on hold, ie, crew fatigue does not increase more rapidly, or at all while higher time compression is in effect. Does anyone know what code controls this and where it is located? I cannot find it in Data/Cfg/Main or Basic, where I'd expect it to be, or anywhere else. One can of course set fatigue steps etc for each crewman, but that's not what I wish to do.

Crew fatigue is tied to whatever time compression you set for 3D view which by default is 32 (hence 64, the next step up, doesn't fatigue your crew)... but wait, you don't say anything about what you want to do... do you want to freeze it forever or what?

I've just learned that one wants to have the 3d TC less than any compression being used in the game...so setting 3d to 32 will ensure that rapid progression across empty seas at 512 will not result in collapsed crews every 10 minutes. Actually I'm looking at the NYGM 'Wolves at War' situation where, I think, one spends far too much time shuffling crew icons instead of thinking through strategy. I do not believe that sub commanders, either in the USN or the Kriegsmarine, handled detailed personnel problems... a job for the XO or COB. WatW is an outstanding product, except for this crew management stuff.
Thanks for the response. Always a pleasure to communicate with folks in SubSim and WatW.
By the way, why isn't there a calendar in the radio room of each sub so one can keep track of the day as well as time? Wouldn't it be nice to have a compass rose in an upper corner of the external camera view (F12) that conformed to the view? Have no idea how to create these things tho' someone must.
Thanks again.
Cordially,

Check that thread. A great tool called SH3 commander. One of it's features lets you change to a custom fatigue model. It has many other great features.

As for the calendar, mouse over the clock in the lower right of your screen, it will give you the time/date/year.

Am using SH3 Commander, but the previous version. Will download the latest. Will install carefully so as not to mess up NYGM program. Didn't know about the date availability when cursor hovering over the clock.
Thanks for advice. I think resetting the 3D TC back to 32 did the trick. One can also mess around with the crew fatigue settings in Data/Cfg too, but it's onerous.

With Commander you can change the TC for 3d to what ever you want. This will set your fatige to run at what ever TC you want.

Correct. Have reset 3D, via SH3 Cmdr, to 32 and the problem was solved. Thank you all.
