Default Sub Size

Hello,

I'm new to these forums and I've browsed around using the search function but cannot find any answers to this question that has been nagging me.

It's most likely just me but when I see pictures of real U-boat's and the one used in Das Boot and compare them to their in game counterparts, the in game versions on the Type VIIB's and C's do not seem as long.

Specifically, there's a scene in Das Boot where U-96 is leaving harbor and you see the forward half of it and the men standing on the bow and the size seemed enormous whereas when I'd be in game and look at aType VII sub's forward area (forward of the gun) it wouldn't seem as long.

I'm sure you guys will laugh and think this post is dumb, I cant blame you really, but am I just totally off my rocker or is the scaling accurate?

I know the manual lists the stats for the subs and that helps somewhat but its just that forward length of the Type VII from the conning tower to the tip of the bow that just has me wondering if its the correct size.

Thanks for your time.
