Less renown that should be?

Heyas!!

I downloaded the excelent GW mod (1.1a)
In my 2nd patrol i destroyed 2 DD, 1 LArge Cargo and 1 Merchant for a total of 12000 Tn. approx, i did the patrol grid for 24 hs and received only 850 points of renown

Playing at 48% realism (love the external view and it is too dificult to do the TDC), the 4 kills are Allied side and acounted to me.

So in 2 missions i only have 25xx renown, 1500 after the academy, 5xx after the first patrol (destroyed 2 merchant) and 850 after the 2nd one and bought a new set of hydrophones, obviously still a Leutenan Z.s not OberLeutenant.

Is this supposed to be like that?

Hi and welcome to Subsim ghostar.

Renown is calculated based on the realism percentage you play the game with. Therefore with 48% realism... you get 48% of the total possible renown for sinking enemy ships.

Actually, you get 25% renown on 0% realism. The remaining 75% is based on realism percentage.

Correct me if i'm wrong:
At 100% realism isn't the renown equally a 100% Tn. destroyed? (i read this isomeplace in this forum)
So at 48% the renown is also equally to 48% Tn.
In less words: if destroyed 12000tn at 48% realism; renown would be something like 5500+24hs partrol+arriving to grid; not merely 850 points.

I think its meant to be Hipper cruiser

I stumbled onto the Gamespy review and was most pleased.

Maybe GW will encourage some new players to buy the game?

Well, as long as Ubisoft lives up to the promise of finishing SHIV, I am happy.
