Hi,
I sometimes would like to use the External View, because I am curious about it, but how do I get it to function. Plenty of info about the controls but nothing about switching it on. Somebody please help! RR ![]() |

Makesure you have it ticked in the settings before you start a mission then press F12 while you are at sea.

Full realism=No external view. That's how I think it is, always plays with 0% realsim

F12 to engage it outside your ship. Shift-F2 to engage it inside your control room.
. (period) key to turn on ship view and , (comma) key to switch to each next ship. Those options are external views but locked onto a specific ship. Period key actually becomes 'next' ship after you've looked at yours. Hold Shift down to speed up your external camera to close great distances. |
