Default Med expansion pack dissed in PC Zone

The current issue of (UK) PC Zone gave the Med expansion pack from X1 52%

You will love this bit

"...if you know what that means you either bought it already or you're outraged that they are charging money for it when there are free add-ons like Grey Wolves already out there."

well that is a good sign

LOL...gotta love it.:rotfl:

X1 gets a slap in the face and Grey Wolves team gets some free publicity through a magazine.

@Achtung Englander: Can you give me their e-mail address. I have to thank them for letting people know about X1´s crappy add-on. and of course, for the free publicity for the GW.

There was something similar here in Romania - a magazine did a report on the addon and they had this little box in one page of the report that said "ALTERNATIVE:Visit www.subsim.com .You can get even better mods from there ,and for free!".Even better doesn't really mean "the same" but still...

Could I get a copy of the article as well.

It's seems we were right all along. The work of the modders here is better than any commerical (pirate) work out there.

Keep it up

This isn't very surprising. I've read at least 3 columns by the Sim guy at PC Gamer (US) about why he can't stop playing SH3. He remarked how good the community was. We may feel isolated amongst gamers in our taste but the experts haven't ignored us.

I was waiting to get the link as I only reply to SW things when I feel I have to defend myself from ignorant childish statements

I too want the link to read this. How many times do I need to say I play my own heavily modded Greywolves/NYGM? (OK, I admit I do run some Salamis patrols in SW when I have less time for my preferred GW 1943/44 North Atlantic convoy attacks)

I am not afraid of what PC gamers opinion is and would like to see if their negative comments are in line with my suggestions for SW that were ignored.

While I only gave historical advise and beta tested the fantasy crowd has made me CEO of X-1 (I have never exchanged a single email with X-1, as I have said) but by now I have been the cause for problems in the Middle East as well as who kidnapped the Lindbergh baby! And, I am not hiding Saddam’s WMDs!

I must admit you do appear to have become the whipping boy for X1's SHIII expansion packs on this forum!
