I have a couple of questions regarding this mod before I install it. I cant bear being docked at a ship for a month anymore. I apologise if these have already been answered elsewhere but ive yet to find it. If the answers do exist then please point me in the right direction.
![]() 1. I was reading something about the need to roll back? with the mod controller JSGME, if I disbable SH3 Commander, will files still remain in the folder. If I delete SH3 COmmander using JGSME will files still remain in the folder? (im currently running SH3+ GW Mod 1.1a) 2. when this mod changes day spent at base to 1, this doesnt affect your home base does it? just milch cows and vessels in neutral ports right? 3. any other issues I need to be aware of? :p

I'll try to answer question 2. SH3 recognizes milk cows and ships in neutral ports; therefore days spent in port are only one. It has no effect on days in port at your original base which I believe is a variable number in SH3 Commander. However, there is an option to set a specific number of days in port if you wish.
You'll be pleased with SH3 Commander. It was a long while before I decided to install it. It also give you some other game options to choose from for example: the type of fatique model the game uses. I for one don't like moving little people around so I play with NO FATIGUE. There's also an option to play with a "Realistic Crew" so on a type VIIB you'll have a crew of only 44 men including 4 officer, which is realistic. It also gives these 44 crew members realtic ranks and ceritifcations to start. |

ok that sounds cool. I guess my only concern is that I play online a bit and would need to disable SH3 commander as the others dont have it. I wouldnt want it to interfere with the installation so that I wouldnt be compatible with these other players.

All you would have to do to play online is open SHIII Commander, push the rollback button, close SHIII Commander, start SHIII in the normal way. BTW SHIII Commander does not go into the SHIII folder, it sets outside by itself, so JSGME has nothing to do with it.

Existing careers are no problem, It's a good Mod, you will enjoy it. Just install once you are in port as you would for any other Mod.
