Imagine my chagrin in returning to 'The cat' after months just as Gizzmoe at long last slammed the door. So goodbye to Bumps RIP !

But I'm sure our wise and venerable moderators would'nt object to us spreading a few chuckles to relieve the tedium of underwater watches,
that incessant pinging and the all pervasive unique smell of oil, sweat and the gaseous conversion of baked beans.
Nup I speak not of our submarriners lot but the Mods Control Room !

I'm sure we have grown a little weary of the mentaly taxing nature of bumping and I would like to issue a challenge - just add your own humorous (or other) anecdotes to Steeds and my posts in ''How to get the British Police to Act'' The only requirement beeing that the new post must include the link of a previously mentioned subject egs. Elephant, police, liquor, carnival , burglar, garage etc..

Could be fun but then I speak as one who has emerged after a long tour of duty in the ''Bilges''
I do hope that I shant be called upon to keep the topic alive with my own gaseous outporings !
