Yes it will be a mod, if you link a screenshot im sure someone will be able to tell you which one. I know GW changes both but im sure other mods do aswell.

I'm uncertain about the dials, but I believe there are a couple of mods at Uboot.realsimulation.com to change your dials.

As far as the crew faces, right here at subsim:

http://www.subsim.com/subsim_files/patches2005.html#sh3

scroll down a short way and you'll find AIL Das Boot Officers Mod V2 which uses the faces of the actors from the movie Das Boot.

Yep, both don´t work. But there are two other places where you can download GW:

If you ask me GW needs to get better mirrors..

The ones they have are useless.Subsim is always out of bandwidth,The European mirror hardly ever works and the Bit Torrent file is completely useless as your lucky to get 3Kbs download speeds and 80+ hrs of download time.

Im still using 1.1 not 1.1a simply because of these reasons...it nearly impossible to even get the 1.1a mod downloaded.

1.1 requires another fix and installs with the mod enabler. 1.1a has the fix and installs through an exe and also gives you options prior to installing. I think 1.1a is easier and better overall.

Absolutely! Too bad that the GW team doesn´t seem to care.

The Torrent is currently quite active, you can download at 50+ kB/s.
