It's been a while since I played around in SH3 and forgotten where I was at.
I'm using the 16km dark and have edited it to fix the "EarthRadius". Also months ago, I edited most the weapon ranges to more realistic levels. Now I've got my Battleships shooting at the full range of my view range. The thing is, a ship will pop into view around 17km on a clear day, though it doesnt start off as a small smoke stack, it just pops up. Through a fog that isnt there. When looking at the horizon, it looks perfectly fine, like the sky touches the edge of the earth, without a fog in-between. It's like I can see further than the ships are viewable, if that makes sense. I can see the horizen, but ships dont show up that far back. Forgive me, for asking something that's probably been asked a dozen times, but when I get time to do some modding every few months between work, I have to play catchup as everything changes so fast. (New forums too) So wondering if anyone has gotten any further with this or if the Atmosphere 16k v2.0 is still the only one. Some great stuff being done still. I finally got the HMS Hood. Very happy about that. Can't wait to get my hands on those night light ships. Thanks in advance.
