Default SH3 map scroll CTD

hi i'm currently running SH3 patched to 1.4b with GWX3 (Greatest mod ever!!!) but on what seems like random times, when i'm viewing the nav map and i start scrolling around it with either my mouse, or the arrow keys the game does it renowned CTD performance, and pisses me off. any help is welcome. thanks in advance.

I have also had this happen, usually when the map scrolls to far over Russia for some reason, others have also reported incidents with map scrolling problems, not sure what causes it but I do scrol now very slowlythat seems to work and not upset my rig

I don't usually scroll around, just abusing the zooming function.

The point of your mouse is where it will always zoom into, so you can go massive distances just by mouse wheeling, pointing, and then wheeling again.

The CTD when scrolling over Russia is a known bug from stock SH III.
