Default Dive Planes

Hi guys

When you surface your boat, the dive-planes will be set to a angel so your boat will go up with enginpower. But when you're almost at the surface the dive-planes will level so you come out of the dept smoothly.
I want my boat to jump out of the water. Especially when pressing the "E" key.

Does anyone know how to edit your boat so it can jump out of the water when I have an emergency surface with full engingpower.

Did WW2 u-boats jump out of the water when doing an emergency ballast at flank speed? I know that modern subs can but they can move much faster underwater because of improved aerodynamic, more powerful engines and Im sure even better ballast tanks. So it might not be realistic. That said maybe there is a file to edit forthis effect. If ther is then I'm sure someone here would know.

I know they can jump out of the water. I have a picture of a us sub from ww2 who did this. Only the jump wasn't as big as in the movie "the hunt for red october"

I think it's hidrodynamics. Anyway, ww2 subs didn't jump out of the water like modern oneas do. But still...they pushed pretty furiously when blowing everything and the sub was in normal and good condition.

Blow the tanks a couple of times in a row, at full speed. You wont jump, but it goes fast, and looks nice, at the cost of a lot of air.

I mean Like this

http://www.navsource.org/archives/08/0852203.jpg

It's the Amberjack (ss-522) just after the war. That boat had a maximum speed at 9 knots submerged.
It's just that in SHIII the diveplanes will level when you are at a dept of +-20 meter. I want to change that to 10 meter. Or perhaps try 5 meter.
