I'm new and I need help

Hi

-- great site btw

I just got SH3 -- loaded it into my PC

game is jerky and sound doesnt work

When I go periscope its like a slide show -- I have fiddled with GFX settings but I dont seem to be making much progress.

Sound is fine on other games I have like MohAA - Enemy territory

Dell Dimension 8400
2.8Ghz Intel
1Gb RAM
ti 4600 GF4 Gfx card (Sparkle)
on board Dell sound

I dont have any munneh to buy any more PC -- if there are any tricks anyone has up their sleevies I would appreciate
