There are five uboot radar types available in SH3: FuMO29, FuMO30, FuMO61, FuMO64 and FuMO391. All of them, except of FuMO29, should have rotary, rectangular antennas, mounted on the left side of conning towers. Only FuMO29 should has immovable antenna mounted on the face of uboot's conning towers.
In SH3 type VII and type IX all radar antennas are mounted like FuMO29, on the face of conning tower - it's incorrect. Type XXI hasn't this bug, his antennas are mounted correctly like in real life. Is it possible to fix this bug? |

I have been asking this question off and on for the last year. If you find a way to fix it, ill be your number 1 fan.
Sadly, i don't think its within anyones power to fix except ubisoft. |

I was looking into this one, but got distracted. I'll add it back to the list.

I'm not a programmer, but could somebody (who knows how to do it) compare game files of type XXI, VII and IX with available radar? Type XXI has radar antennas at good position and types VII/IX have conning towers with place for antennas. May be it's possible to fix it. :hmm:
I think it would be better to remove radar antennas of FuMO30, 61, 64 and 391 from face of conning towers at all, if it's not possible to change their actual position. It looks stupid now. ![]() |

Hi not sure if this is what you mean ![]() If it is -its a 3d object so its coordinates can be moved to reposition it ![]() |

Where can I download this program from?
I'll try to work with antennas using this stuff, but I'm not familiar to it. Maybe somebody do it better? |

Thats for pack3d Doesnt seem to open the type 7 .dat files tho only the type 9 IIRC Der Teddy Bar uses someting that the NYGM team use where he can move stuff around so maybe its worth asking him The other way is to move the coordinates and keep reloading in museum so you can see the changes The Y coordinate is the height so you dont need to touch that the other 2 are side to side and back to front Will have a go myself too see if can help you out on this Do you have a pic of where its supposed to be ? DONT FORGET TO MAKE A BACKUP COPY OF THE .DAT YOU ALTER FIRST Last edited by bigboywooly; 06-16-06 at 04:36 PM. |

So the loop antenna is actually there !!!
This antenna is used for Direction Finding, not for radar. However it would be very interesting to raise it (to move it in the vertical direction)... Is it possible to do it??? Txema |

Bigboywooly - like Txema said it's round radio, not radar antenna. Radar antenna is rectangular (except of FuMO29) and should be placed at left side of conning tower, in special recess (you can see it, when you choose type VII/1945 in any single mission, this recess is empty, but antenna is placed at face of conning tower
![]() If you want a pic, look at this: http://www.paolopizzi.com/paolopizzi...eix/typeix.htm see "active radar" section, first photo is FuMO29 antenna (well implemented in SH3), next two photos are rectangular FuMO30 and Hohentwiel antennas. |

:hmm: Well thats not in the .dat then - there is the loop and the rod antenae in there
The only other posibility is if there is a "node" in the .dat for the radar to go on - basically a predetermined space certain upgrades will go to....something like that lol IF there is a node its finding which one it is ![]() Your best bet may be with Der Teddy Bar and his all purpose NYGM tool Sorry ![]() |
