I don't think I have come across the answer to this in the forums. Sorry if I have missed it.
I never see TIW tracks on the Nav screen so I can't do other than guess the correct action from the initial bearing report. Is there a setting that I should be changing please? Thanks in hope. |

Its kind of a super cheat. If you don't enable show truth the only way you can follow a torpedo (enemy or friendly) is via the sonar (mostly broadband but also narrowband). If you get a TIW message but you can't see it on the sonar that means the torpedo was fired very very far (so that you don't have to be concerned) on the other hand if you notice a signal on the bearing of TIW than start planning evasive action. |
