Default Armed Trawlers

Patrolling in the North Sea, near English coast early 1940, and during the patrol I made contact with 3 seperate armed trawlers over a period of a few hours. I was submerged when I found the first one and as soon as I got within spitting distance of it she sank! I did nothing to it, honest. There was a cheer from my crew with that one and I could then no longer see it in the 'scope. When I took a quick look at the map there was a shipwreck symbol. Resumed patrol and a few hours later the same thing happened (with no cheer) to the second one. When I encountered the third one I immediately surfaced, about 2000 metres range, and she suddenly foundered as seen in the event camera first.
The weather was blowing a bit, 15 m/s winds, but that shouldn't sink trawlers, should it? None of the sinkings appeared in the Captain's log, just the shipwreck symbols on the map where they went down. Is this a known bug, please?
(I'm using RUb 1.45 with loads of other mods also.)

I have never noticed that in my play. Sometimes when a trawler or destroyer shoots from the turret- there is a back fire occasionally causing an explosion on the deck and usually followed by a fire on deck. They do self destruct on occasion.

Thanks for that. Is there ever any mention of such self-sinkings made in the Captain's log?

No, they were all red; when I heard my crew cheer when the first one sank I thought maybe he had scuttled himself because he knew my fearsome reputation but I got no credit for any of them.

I note i have those grey sunk ships when in example they was destroyed with miy periscope down, and my crew can not confirm it was destroyed by my torps or my actions, any way i receive the credits.
