Default My first, finished career - promoted to Staff

Oberleutnant z. S. Jordan

Well, I decided after that last, insane patrol that my Uboat commander was taken out of a Front Line Flotte and transferred to BdU Staff.

Was a great career - very enjoyable!

Salute herr Kaleun!

Good Job! But how could you just stop? Did SH3cmdr make the decision for you? I can't stop till I get killed. In fact, it's exactly _when_ I will get killed that keeps me playing.

No, SH3 Cmdr didn't decide for me. I just decided.

My skipper has lead a somewhat charmed life. lol With as much as he's sunk and how many patrols he's done, I figured he'd have been up in Command by now.

lmfao

I dunno if I'd call it "mature", but thanks.

You could look at it as I was taking the easy way out. :rotfl:

We just hope you'll remember your old friends in the ranks, when it comes time to hand out juicy grid assignments.

That would be the end of patrol 1. A promotion is achieved after the end of patrol 1 if your "RankLevel1" setting under [PLAYER_RENOWN] in Basic.cfg is less than 1500, assuming you have started the game with the full 1500 renown and haven't spent/lost any.

RUb, GW1.1 and I believe IUB include this change. Stock SH3 has the value set to 5000.

Wow, no planes downed! How could you resist the fireworks, especially in early to mid-war?

Hey "Girly man" how do you figure jumping ship before the real war begins for U-Boats not to mention the Poncy 79% you play at.

You were not reassigned to staff. You have been sent to pleasure Russian prisoners for lack of aggressiveness.

If your ars shows up on my roster we have ways in the real U-Boat force to deal with you; “Dismissed"

Perhaps you would be better to serve in the French fleet? There 79% would be a very high level of difficulty.

One day you will play SH3 for the first time and wonder why you wasted your time playing like a Frenchman!

(of course everyone else will just think I am being rude!!!; so this is almost our joke!)

TBH, I never saw an airplane but a few times - and each time I was on a high TC, so they were over me and passed by the time I could do anything.

Not to mention they've totally PORKED the aircraft and made them flying tanks so it's more "realistic"... In GW 1.1 anyway.

For example, in the naval academy flak mission, I shot all all my 20mm at the planes and none of them even so much as smoked.

Personally, I think it sucks.
