Food disappearing?

Has anyone noticed any of the food that's hanging in the command room disappearing while on a long patrol? I think I read in another forum that someone reported a bunch of bananas disappearing.

I hope in SH4 we get to see other parts of the subs like the galley, engine room, etc.
